As students, we are the driving force of change on UW-Madison's campus.
​We need YOUR help to transition the campus to 100% renewable energy.
From the beginning of this university, students have used their voices to change the institution into what it is today. Students have the power to make a positive impact on campus, and we need your help to make the next big difference: 100% clean energy. The use of nonrenewable energy has a negative effect on fellow students, many live in communities where their health is at risk because of effects of energies like coal. We want you to join our fight to make sure that UW-Madison is having a positive impact across Wisconsin communities and the world.

... getting creative?

  • Chalk for CLEAN events
  • Design a poster for a CLEAN event
  • Help organize a CLEAN event
  • Write a testimonial
  • Write a Letter to the Editor
  • Come up with your own idea (event, campaign, etc.) to help. It must be approved by a CLEAN leader

... talking to students?

  • Help get clean energy petition signatures
  • Conduct research about student interest in clean energy on campus (pass out surveys on campus)
  • Talk to a professor or another club with expertise in renewable energy. If they're interested, invite them to talk at one of our weekly meetings

... talking to others?

  • Call or email an administrator and tell them why renewable energy on campus matters to you
  • Call, email, or write to your congresspeople about clean energy
  • Promote CLEAN and its mission to the media (newspapers, radio shows, TV news)
  • Go to the office hours of a professor and talk to them about clean energy on campus. If they're interest, have them sign our petition
  • Reach out to a local business owner to get donations for our events, or to see where they stand on clean energy
